 Painted Stained Glass Windows

Painted stained glass is a higher art form of stained glass windows. First we draw, then we add the structural lead line to the design. Next we cut the individual pieces of glass. When we start painting, each layer of paint has to be fired in a kiln. We cannot mix the colors because each color fires at a different temperature. The paints can only be applied in layers. When we paint on glass, it is not because it is easier. Painting is much harder. We paint to add beauty and detail to the stained glass window. Life is good when I am holding a paint brush!

The distinction in quality craftsmanship is in the details.
Classic interior design, like good manners, never goes out of style.
